Trudi is a highly creative illustrator and a joy to work with. I commissioned her for several illustrations for a series of invites in 2010. From the initial briefing she knew exactly what I was looking for and as the project developed the ideas and the creative energy became truly inspirational. In relation to her beautiful illustrations: Trudi has a great eye for the details. I really enjoy it when she shows me a new drawing, they’re always fun, slightly naive, but meticulous in showing the true story as opposed to the literal. That said though, they are no fantasy world, rather a keen observation of the everyday life. An examination of the minutiae.
